In this project, I developed the logo and visual identity for Asensio, a brand dedicated to selling laboratory equipment and products. The design was created with a conceptual and technical approach that reflects both the brand's core values and its area of specialization.
Isotype Design
The isotype was designed to merge two key concepts:
Laboratory Machinery: Represented through the abstraction of a centrifuge viewed from above, symbolizing precision and advanced technology.
Proximity to Clients: Inspired by the shape of molecules and the bonds between atoms, reflecting the human and scientific connections that the brand fosters.
These concepts were united through circles organized in a pentagonal figure, evoking organic structures like heterocycles (pyrrole, furan, ribose) that are fundamental in the field of Asensio's clients. The final structure was inspired by Voronoi Tessellations, generating a clean, dynamic, and minimalist design.
The logo combines modernity and dynamism, with angular lines that convey strength and minimalism, while the smooth curves reinforce the idea of closeness and unity. The flat two-dimensional design ensures versatility for digital and printed applications, providing a coherent and professional visual identity that stands out in the laboratory equipment sector.
